When a girl dumps Shawn just because of where he lives, he wonders if he and Cory should stop being friends for the same reason and starts hanging out with Harley and his gang.
Meanwhile, Eric needs to learn how to skate to impress a certain girl. My review: It's hard for me to get into this episode. I just can't get over the fact that it's a different guy playing Harley and that you can easily see where the different takes are spliced together. In fact, I think the season could have easily survived without this episode. No offense to the actor who played Harley in this episode-he did a great job-it's just that he wasn't Danny McNulty. I'm not on Nancy's side or Tonya's. Go Brian Boitano! Memorable Quotes: Eric: "Jason, I don't skate. At all." Jason: "Well, Canadians skate. How hard could it be?" -Sumbitted by Skylar Back to Season 2 |
Episode #41
Production #B641 Originally aired: ABC, 8:30pm, Friday, February 24, 1995 Guest Stars: Blake Soper, Ethan Suplee, Jason Marsden, Nancy Kerrigan, Kerry Johnston, Krystee Clark, Rebecca Herbst, Shay Astar Directed by: David TrainerCory must be on the right side of the tracks. =) What Disney cut out: Cory asks Mindy why Jill dumped Shawn. After she says, "I think it's pretty obvious," she adds, "Like her parents would ever let her go out with him." Cory says, "They have a problem with Shawn." Mindy answers, "Only a lot" before saying, "Shawn and Jill don't exactly belong to the same, you know, circle." Thanks to Melissa for the info! After Shawn says, "A mild-manered youth until seventh grade. Shawn realized he was nothing but trailer trash" he says, "so he blew up the entire school." Then, Cory says "Look," before his next line. When Cory is asking Mr. Feeny about how people turn out based on their childhood, Feeny says, "Ah, the old nature vs. nurture conundrum." Cory responds with, "Yeah, to use a lot of words I don't understand." When Joey tells Shawn to get the bagels, Disney cuts him saying, "Bagels?" and Joey responding, "Bagels."
