"Resolute Guardian"

WILLIAM DANIELS

William Daniels' first big role was as John Adams in 1776. He also played John Quincy Adams in The Adams Chronicles. In 1967, he had a starring role on Captain Nice. In 1968, he did the pilot for The Good Guys and guest starred on The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. In 1969, he had a guest spot on Judd for the Defense. In the 70s, William played some small roles on Cannon, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Barbary Coast, Medical Story, The Bob Newhart Show, The Rockford Files (twice), Quincy, M.E. (twice), The Incredible Hulk, and Soap. In the 1982, he got a recurring role on Knight Rider (a role he would play again in 1991 and later on The Simpsons) and a recurring role on St. Elsewhere (for which he received six nominations and two Emmy Awards as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series). Also in the early 80s, William was on a double episode of Galactica, another episode of Quincy M.E., and an episode of Hart to Hart.
In 1993, William was cast as George Feeny on Boy Meets World. He loved the quality writing of the pilot script. William thought his character's relationship with Cory was interesting and that his character was somewhat like John Houseman's character in The Paper Chase. During the show's run, he was also on an episode of Touched by an Angel and in The Wizard of Evergreen Terrace.
In 2002, William guest starred on an episode of Scrubs. He can currently be seen in the ABC series, Lost at Home, which airs Tuesday nights in prime time.

My opinion of him: William Daniels seems to be a pretty good actor. He made his character on Boy Meets World seem realistic, and I think another actor may have not been able to pull that off.
