WHAT BOY MEETS WORLD HAS MEANT TO ME

From the time I was six till the time I was ten, I would occasionally tune into the old T.G.I.F. lineup on ABC. Most of the shows were boring to me at that age, but, for some reason, Boy Meets World could always hold my attention. It could have been the jokes, the plots, or the good-looking guys, I'm not sure. All I remember is thinking Minkus and Topanga were funny and wondering what happened to Cory's little sister.
I went a few years without keeping up with it. I only vaguely remember ever seeing it after season 4.
In the fall of 2001, I had a half hour to kill before another show I wanted to watch was on. (I really do do more than watch t.v., I'm sure.) I noticed that Boy Meets World was on the Disney Channel. "Hmm," I thought, "Didn't I like that show when I was little?" So I watched it. Wow. What a great show. It was better than I remembered because now I was old enough to understand more of the jokes and relate more to the teenaged characters.
After that, I started watching it every day. It was so funny! Boy Meets World became more important to me than every other show that was on at 5:00 and 6:30.
When I heard that there would be a marathon, I couldn't wait! Unfortunately, that was the night I had to sing in a concert.
I had all these tapes full of Full House reruns, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity to finally tape over them. I did, and I kept taping episodes every day. I have almost all of them now, but I was disappointed to find out that Disney refuses to show episodes with drinking or that mention pre-marital sex. (You can sign my petition about that here.)
I had to find out more about the show and its cast members. When I searched the internet for BMW websites, I saw that the vast majority of them are dead. But I still like it! Why didn't you keep it up for me? Ok, if no one else will, I will. So that brings us here. How do you like what I've done?
hate it, huh?
