From January 2-January 23, the votes will be for Favorite Rules of Boy Meets World. Allow me to explain: There are certain noticable rules for writing a Boy Meets World episode. For instance, Cory and Topanga can break up as often and for as long as they want, but they always have to get back together. That's a rule. Shawn can have spurts of acedemic, familial, or romantic victory, but can never be too happy; that's another. Feel free to write your own, as always, but let me give you some more ideas:
• Rachel can't kiss anyone but Jack (especially not Eric).
• Shawn's mom can not stick around for more than two years.
• At least two main characters have to get makeovers between seasons.
• One male character can have a crush on a maximum of three girls at the same time.
• No matter how Jewish Cory acts, he must always celebrate Christmas and not Hanukkah.
• Shawn has to remain a virgin during his womanizer years, but not when he's with Angela.
• The characters can realize they're in a tv show, but can not know when they're part of a movie parody or t.g.i.f. crossover.
• "Damn," "hell," and "crap" are the most offensive words that can be uttered (on abc, anyway).
• Eric can never get married or have a girlfriend for more than an episode or two.
• Going backward or forward in time is okay.
• Shawn can only be affected by the alcoholism gene for one episode per season, on average.
• Topanga is the only official girlfriend Cory can have for more than one episode.
• Characters may be spiritual, but may not belong to any specific Christian denomination or set foot inside a church.
• Everyone must get older the second the show begins to get boring.
• Cory and Shawn can act as gay as humanly possible, but only when one or both of them has a girlfriend.
• The new Morgan can have no more than six lines per episode.
• Mr. Feeny has to be Cory's teacher every year.
