Eric tries to get a musician who is just way too perky to get away from the store. When he makes the mistake of insulting her in doing this, she puts her anger towards him into a song. Now that her music has turned edgy, the radio stations won't stop playing it. Eric has to put a stop to this before she gives him a bad reputation.
Meanwhile, Topanga is convinced that Cory will never be a good father when he helps her babysit and lets the kid stay up late and watch T.G.I.F. My review: Wow. Some people have dubbed this the best episode and I'm tempted to agree. The inside jokes, the plot, and the hilarious lines easily make this one of the greatest. Memorable Quotes: Cory: "Wait a minute, you and me are gonna have a chil--Wait a minute! We've only kissed. I mean, I knew I was a good kisser, but wow." -submitted by T Money Cory: "Someday, Topanga's going to be a mother and I'm going to be the father or the uncle or, the way I'm going, the guy down the street with the binoculars." -submitted by Skylar Eric: "Ok, Corinna, I don't know how to say this, so, I'm going to choose my words very carefully. I think you're a psycho. I want to get as far away from you as I possibly can." Corinna: "What?" Eric: "I'm just not the guy for you. You need a guy who's happy and perky all the time; maybe a guy who's had part of his brain removed and he thinks he's a bunny and the two of you can go off and be bunnies together. CHECK! For the love of God, would somebody please bring me a check?!" Corinna: "You don't want to see me anymore, do you?" Eric: "Oh, see, it's not just that. I want to put you on a rocket ship and send you to the planet Flaflooga." i've been to flaflooga Back to Season 4 |
Episode #72
Production #B724 Originally aired: ABC, 9:30pm, Friday, October 18, 1996 Guest Stars: Leisha Haily, Devon O'Brien, Zack Phifer, Jonathan Usser, Jack Gralman Directed by: Jeff McCracken Interesting Facts/Inside Jokes: Here's the whole story. When this season began, Boy Meets World's time slot had been moved up an hour from 8:30 to 9:30. The famous scene in this episode in which Billy complains about his favorite show in the Friday night lineup (starring a goofy, curly-haired kid) being switched to 9:30 for no apparent reason was referring to Boy Meets World and was apparently a plea to the network to stop "trying to kill it." After this episode aired, ABC promptly switched the show back to its classic slot where it belonged.8:30 @;-) |
