POETIC LICENSE: AN ODE TO HOLDEN CAULFIELD

When people find out how good Shawn is at writing poetry, they try to convince him to read some of his poems for everyone. He says no, but Cory forces him to do it anyway. Shawn starts to read a poem he wrote for Angela, but freezes when he sees her in the audience. After Cory makes the mistake of reading it after Shawn leaves, Angela gets mad at Shawn for breaking up with her even though he still loves her. Shawn says that he wrote it before they broke up, but Topanga is the only one who gets the truth out of him: he still loves Angela.
Meanwhile, Eric tricks the whole class into using a "foolproof" study system that he's never even tried.
Also, Cory tries to write poetry, too.

My review: I liked that poem "Top of the World." Props on the poetry, Rider! Anyway, Cory was kind of funny in this episode, but most of the episode wasn't too funny. It wasn't that there were jokes that weren't funny, there just weren't too many jokes at all. You know what I'm saying? Anyway, it's enjoyable to watch.
