Cory is going through his awkward stage and is feeling very uncomfortable with his appearence. To show him that looks don't matter, Topanga hacks off chunks of her long, beautiful hair. When she realizes what she's done, she panicks and then decides to just get it evened out. The makeover she gets makes her look twice as pretty as before and this makes Cory even more insecure. Will Topanga change comepletely?
Meanwhile, instead of looking for a real job, Eric sits on the couch all day, watching t.v., and decides he should become the world's first good-looking detective. My review: I can't rave about this episode enough. It was one of the best and funniest (not to mention very well-directed). Ben Savage and Will Friedle especially display a tremendous amount of talent in this episode. goodtimes :) Memorable Quotes: Cory: "The child speaks the truth. I, Cory Matthews, am a po-ta-to." Eric (singing): "When a crime breaks out, all the cute girls shout, 'Get the good-looking guy!' When there's a crime out there, he's going to comb his hair, cause he's the good-looking guy." Cory: "I want--" (Shawn signals Topanga to call him) "I want the name of the guy who did this to you." Topanga: "You don't like it?" Cory: "No, it's not that I don't like it. It's just that I'm in love with this girl who's never cared what she looked like and now I see make-up on your face and polish on your nails and toes and--" (to Shawn) "Stop lookin' at her toes." Shawn: "But they sparkle!" -submitted by Emily Topanga: "It's just a haircut. It's just some make-up. It's not going to change me!" [looks at her watch] "Gotta go." Cory: "Well, where're you goin'?"
