GRADUATION

Cory gives Topanga permission to go to Yale just to be supportive. She decides to go, but asks Mr. Feeny for some last minute advice anyway.
Meanwhile, Topanga wins the position of valedictorian over Minkus, but gives up her speech to Shawn so he can say what high school has really meant to him.
Also, Eric does everything in his power to keep Feeny from retiring.

My review: This was, no doubt, the perfect episode. Everyone was great in it and it was the most fitting and well-done season finale of all time. Eric's song, Jack's caricature of Shawn, Cory's senior prank, and Topanga's famous proposal were all awesome, and it was sweet to see them all finally get along with Minkus, Frankie, and Joey.

Memorable Quotes:
Cory: "Chickens in the hallway. Chickens in the hallway! Somebody must have let 'em loose as the official senior prank! Look at 'em. Look at 'em! Oh, look at the chickens! Oh my gosh, this is crazy! I wonder which crazy senior though this up, huh? This is nuts!"

On to Season 6
Episode #113
Originally aired: ABC, 9:30pm, Friday, May 15, 1998
Directed by: Alan Myerson
Guest Stars: Trina McGee-Davis, Lee Norris, Ethan Suplee, Blake Soper
Interesting Facts/Inside Jokes: In this episode, Minkus explains that he and Mr. Turner have been in the "other part of the school" all this time and points off-camera. Cory and Shawn express fear and say that they never go there because they may never come back. This was obviously a joke on the fact that Anthony Tyler Quinn had mysteriously left the cast for a year and Lee Norris had been missing since the first season, while Ben Savage and Rider Strong were the only two who'd appeared in every episode. Apparently, they were the only ones who'd never wandered down that mysterious hallway.
Another joke was the music in the background when Eric was going out of Feeny's window. If you listen closely, you'll hear that it's the "Good-Looking Guy" song from "Hair Today, Goon Tomorrow."
