| Shawn's mother has finally returned to town again. She's just afraid to come home. Shawn and his father are equally afraid of scaring her away again, so it looks like Cory will have to be the one to coax her back. Meanwhile, Cory feels guilty and upset when the lunchroom lady dies. Also, Amy's efforts to make her family a nice breakfast every morning are underappreciated. And Frankie's little brother, Herman, steals shampoo from the Hunters' trailer when they babysit him. My review: Ah, another good episode. Even though it probably wins the prize for most plotlines, they were all tied together so nicely that, instead of being confusing, they made it seem a lot more like real life. Back to Season 4 | Episode #71 Production #B723 Originally aired: ABC, 9:30pm, Friday, October 11, 1996 Guest Stars: Blake Clark, Ethan Suplee, E.J. de la Pena, Loretta Jean, Mike Grief, Shareen Mitchell Directed by: Jeff McCracken Interesting Facts/Inside Jokes: Cory wasn't sure how long Shawn's mom had been gone. This may have had to do with the show's fuzzy math: the gang skipped ahead two years in age and, yet, Shawn's mom was supposedly still only gone for one year. |
