| Cory gets paired with Topanga for a class project. At first he's not into it because Topanga and her friends are weird and they get laughed at by other kids. But, when his attempt to straighten his hair goes terribly wrong, he becomes one of the strange kids himself and begins to empathize with them. After helping them with a petition, Topanga gives him his first kiss. Cory eventually goes back to his old group of friends, but he'll never think of the geeks the same way he did before. Meanwhile, Morgan mistakenly kills her doll in the toaster oven and has to get it replaced. My review: Most early episodes were more "kiddish" and not as funny as the later ones. This episode's humor was equal to that of the those that followed it years later. It perfectly prefigured Cory's later feelings for Topanga. He just needed to wait until it was cool to like girls. Memorable Quotes: Cory: "Shawn and I have another project we're working on." Topanga: "Really? What is it?" Shawn: "Well, you know how those dolphins get caught in the tuna nets?" Topanga: "Yeah?" Shawn: "It's got nothin' to do with that."
