Ben Savage was raised in Illinois. When Ben was little, he loved to make people laugh, especially grownups. Since his brother was an actor, he decided to give it a whirl, too. His first role was a commercial for Costco when he was 6. After that, Ben got a role in the movie Clifford, a part in the Disney movie Big Girls don't Cry, They get Even, a guest spot on The Wonder Years in 1990, and had recurring roles on Dear John and Wild Palms. These were only some of the jobs he got before landing the leading role of Cory on Boy Meets World in 1993.
During BMW's seven year run, he got a few more guest spots including Stuart (Claudia's friend) on Party of Five, and crossing over in his role of Cory Matthews in Maybe This Time and Teen Angel. At 18, he moved into the guest house on his parents property: his first bachelor pad, which used to be occupied by Fred.
Other guest spots include Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Monsters, A Family for Joe, McDonald's Family Theatre Presents: Aliens for Breakfast, She Woke Up, and Swimming Upstream.
In 1998, Ben graduated from Brentwood highschool. When he was in 8th grade, Ben had visited his brother at Stanford and decided that was definitely where he wanted to go to college. After turning down his acceptance there two years in a row so he could continue with BMW, Ben is finally getting the chance to go to school at his first choice of colleges.

My opinion of him: Ben Savage just kept getting funnier and funnier as the seasons went on. He is a very talented actor with a great sense of humor.
